Invisalign
Invisalign treatment involves wearing a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. Unlike metal braces, there are no brackets or wires, and the clear, flexible plastic fits snugly over your teeth for a virtually undectable wearing experience. Dr. Longchamps will create a unique dental treatment plan and monitor your progress every step of the way.
Braces
At OceanGrace Dental we use the Damon System for braces, which are gentler on your teeth and easier to maintain than traditional braces. They’re self-litigating, meaning they gradually tighten themselves over time, removing the need for periodic follow up visits for tightening.
Other Appliances
Other orthodontic appliances include elastics, headgear, positioners, retainers, and separators/spacers. All work in different ways to correct the positioning of your teeth/jaw, depending on your orthodontic needs.
Children's Orthodontics
Early orthodontic evaluation and treatment is vital, as many orthodontic issues are easier to correct when detected early on. For this reason, The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an orthodontic consultation by the age of seven.
